We make covers by hand at Shop AF 46, custom-fitted to your Bible rather than sold in vague sizes. Genuine leather or waterproof material, with a zip closure to keep pages flat and bulletins where you left them. UGX 30,000, ready in three days. We also restore. If the spine has cracked, the cover has separated, or pages are coming loose, bring it to us before it gets worse. We rebind with a new handmade leather cover and it comes back structurally sound, with everything you have written in it exactly where you left it.
This is the part of what we do that people do not expect to find in Kampala. Most shops will sell you a new Bible. Very few will repair the one you have been reading for twenty years. The Bibles that come to us usually belong to pastors, elders and parents, and they are almost always the ones nobody wants to give up.
